CABP volunteers got involved in the #TrashChallenge action, which consists in cleaning public places. In cooperation with the city authorities and one of the local orphanges, a group of bank employees cleaned the green area in one of the housing estates in Wrocław. The bank also became an official partner of the "Green Record of Poland" campaign organized by Dotlenieni.org Foundation. The goal of the campaign in to encourage companies and individuals to plant as many trees and shrubs as possible within 24 hours. The result of the bank's involvement was the greening of 13 branches in Wrocław, as well as several dozen plants planted by employees in their homes and gardens.
The kitchens and social rooms of all the Bank's Head Office buildings have been equipped with sets of glasses and jugs, which make it possible to give water to employees and guests without using plastic bottles and packaging. The Bank also set up a bicycle maintenance and repair station for its staff, which could be used by anyone commuting to work on two wheels. In addition, the bank ran an educational campaign about the ecological working style – how to save electricity, water and paper, eliminate plastics and environmentally friendly commuting.
All these activities are in line with the CSR Strategy of the Credit Agricole Group, which attaches great importance to environmental activities.
