In the "Responsible Business Report of Credit Agricole Bank Polska S.A. 2018” the bank presents its approach to corporate social responsibility and the initiatives taken in this respect to all its stakeholders, including employees, customers, business partners, suppliers and the social environment. The Bank describes its corporate governance and management approach, as well as employee and ethical issues and impacts on society and the environment.
– For every company, regardless of the industry, the most important thing should be to build value and credibility not only through financial results, which are of course very important, but also through broadly understood corporate responsibility. We understand it as a responsibility for the impact our company has on society and the environment. Therefore, we make every effort to ensure that all our activities, as well as our products, customer service and internal processes are friendly, transparent and ethical – says Piotr Kwiatkowski, CABP’s CEO.
The report was based on the findings of a panel of stakeholders who expressed their expectations towards the bank during the discussion. The document also takes into account opinions expressed through questionnaires by internal and external stakeholders. On the basis of the collected information, the bank selected those that it decided to present in the report. In the latest material, the Bank also indicates the Sustainability Targets announced by the UN, to which it contributes through its activities.
– Thanks to the Corporate Social Responsibility report, we can show in a condensed form what kind of an institution we are, what mission we carry out, how we perceive our role in the whole social and economic ecosystem. This is very important for building the image of a bank that is attentive and listens to. In our company, there is no difference between business activities and CSR activity. These are not two separate entities, but unity – emphasizes Piotr Kwiatkowski.
The content of the report was prepared by the bank on the basis of the international standard for this type of documents – GRI Standards. This is the most popular standard for reporting non-financial data, which makes it easier to compare the results of the activities of various companies.
– Preparation of a report is a good opportunity to collect and summarize all the activities undertaken in the company and to evaluate what worked well and what needs to be improved. Such reflection helps in effective, wise and strategic management of the future of the organization – concludes Piotr Kwiatkowski.
