For the second time, CABP has become a partner of the Green Record of Poland campaign organized by Dotlenieni.org . This year, all facilities in Wrocław have been greenened. – In Credit Agricole we have green in our DNA. As a bank that derives its history from agricultural cooperative cash registers, we feel a close connection with the environment in which we all live on a daily basis. For over a hundred years we have been supporting green initiatives and pro-ecological activities – explains Przemyslaw Przybylski, Director of Corporate Communication Bureau at CABP.
The Green Record of Poland is not the only joint action undertaken together with the Dotlenieni.org. In November last year, the bank's volunteers together with the representatives of the foundation planted trees and bushes on the premises of the Wrocław Care and Education Centre.
The Green Record of Poland is an initiative which is becoming more and more popular every year. During the first edition of the event 3295 plants were planted. At that time, the action covered only Wrocław. A year later, other cities joined the record, setting a new result: 10 921 trees and shrubs. This year's goal was ambitious – to plant 20,000 new plants. Whether it was possible to achieve it, we will find out soon – the Records Office is in the process of counting plantings.
Dotlenieni.org activity aims to draw attention to the impact of greenery on air purification and well-being. – We want to make it clear: environmental problems must be solved together. That is why we invite business, local governments and all people who care about the environment to the Green Record of Poland – says Marek Kołkowski from Dotlenieni.org.
