Investments, creativity, time management and persuasion – these are the topics that our trainers talked about this year to the students of the competence workshops that took place in the Municipal Volunteer Centre in Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesia region.
The first training was conducted by Zbigniew Ciepliński from the Competence Development Department. The "First Steps in Investments" were workshops, which presented the ways in which the investment market operates and suggests what people who are just getting to know it may be waiting for. The knowledge passed on during the training is to be used by students who, thanks to well-thought-out investments, can more easily obtain funds for the implementation of their plans.
"Creativity training, or how to catch a cat by the tail" is the subject of the training prepared by Katarzyna Weźranowska from the Competence Bureau of Partner Networks and Remote Channels. The aim of the workshop was to convince the participants that creativity is a feature thanks to which we can reject old patterns of thinking and action, and by replacing them with new ideas, significantly improve the quality of our lives and work. Students had the opportunity to learn about creative techniques and methods of searching for solutions, based on the example of everyday situations from professional and private life.
The third training, "Self-management in time", was conducted by Marta Pawelec, also from the Competence Bureau of Partner Networks and Remote Channels. The aim of the workshop was to present tools that help in organizing work and effective management of oneself in time. The participants were also introduced to planning principles useful in volunteering activities and tips on how to set priorities for tasks. They learnt how to recognize and counteract time eroders, as well as how to set goals correctly.
The fourth representative of our bank was Sebastian Harmazy from the Collection and Claims Management Division, who prepared a training under the intriguing title "DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, or a few words about persuasion". Workshop participants learned six basic rules of exerting R. Cialdini's influence, as well as tips on how to consciously use this knowledge in order to effectively achieve business goals.
– Trainings of our colleagues met with great interest. The participants, as well as the organisers of the Municipal Volunteer Days themselves, were very impressed with the competence, professionalism and approach of our trainers. Our involvement in the event was even recognized as an example for other companies, among others by offering full-day training – praises Przemysław Przybylski, Director of Corporate Communication Office responsible for the coordination of CSR projects.
