International Days is an annual English-language event at the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication of the University of Wroclaw. The initiative integrates the multicultural community of Wrocław: visitors, students and "indigenous" residents. Employees of Credit Agricole Bank Polska were involved in the event both as organisers and as experts conducting workshops.
One of the workshops conducted by the bank’s experts concerned project management and argued why and when it is worth it to engage in a project, how to handle it and how to make use of agile management methods. Another workshop by a CABP expert was dedicated to design thinking. The goal of the participants was to redesign the process of giving gifts. In a condensed formula, the partakers learned the subsequent stages of the design thinking process and were able to test this method in practice immediately.
Apart of the competence workshops, the fifth edition of the International Days 2019 consisted of a conference, a photography exhibition, and an English poetic slam. International Days have been organised since 2015. Although each edition of the event takes a slightly different form and size, its main idea is always the same – to meet, learn, mix, everything in an international context.
